Everyone Has a Story.
We live in a world that moves very, very fast. If you don’t catch on to the latest trending video, hashtag, or twitter storm, you’re likely to miss your chance at 3.57 seconds of fame. And that fame tends to focus on a small amount of people.
With all of that speed, it’s easy to miss the things that feed our soul. A great nap for instance, or a moment of silence.
Or, a great conversation with someone that lasts more than 5 minutes. The art of conversing with others some would say is slowly dying. That’s quite sad.
The more I think about this, the more I wonder how many stories will be lost to time because no one took the time to sit and talk. If there is one thing I know, it’s that everyone has a story to tell.
The most interesting stories to me are that of our leaders and artists. What paths did they walk in life to get them to the place they are today? Where might those paths lead them in the future? What if they would have made a different turn somewhere?
This is where The Heath Bar comes in. The stories and lives of people who are carving out a piece of life and willing to share it with us. The best conversations for me have always happened over a pint or two with people hanging out at a pub and this podcast aims to capture that feel of story telling and connection with the listeners.
The guests include Songwriters, Film Producers, Opera House directors, Craft Brewers, Painters, Photographers, and much much more, each with a story to share and each worth listening to.
No story is rushed. No story is edited and cut down to a bite sized morsel. It’s raw and authentic, just like genuine humans.
The people I cross paths with make up the guests and getting to sit down with them and talk I consider to be of the highest honor.
Join us at The Heath Bar and hear the beauty in the stories of the lives of those around you.
